Deanna Maxwell has dedicated her life to the education of children. After obtaining her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education at Indiana University, she moved to Hawaii where she taught children admitted to a residential psychiatric hospital. Once home in Indiana, she obtained her master's degree in Special Education and spent over 16 years in the classroom teaching students in every grade level from K-college before becoming a school administrator. She is currently an assistant principal in the same high school that she graduated from almost 30 years ago.

Max and Deanna have 4 kids. Sam (25) is an actor living in NYC, Sophia (23) is a dance instructor, Amber (21) is studying to be a physician's assistant and Colten (18) is in the Air National Guard currently stationed in Texas.

You will be seeing more of their kids as each of them will be instructing a future Movin' with the Maxwells program! Stay tuned...

All About US
We met on the church worship team where Max was the drummer and Deanna was a vocalist.
We LOVE to travel! Our favorite places? London and Colorado Springs. We have climbed the Manitou incline 5 times.
When not playing drums or at school, you can find us either in the gym or eating tacos.
We have 4 rescue dogs. 2 Great Pyrenees (Sir Edward & Luna) and 2 mutts that look like doodles (Rhea & Jolene). We have trouble saying no to a dog in need!
There is always a project going on in our house. New paint? Building a table? Ripping out a wall? Yes, please.
Max refused to go on cruises until Deanna finally talked him into one. He loved it! We have already been on 7 with number 8 on the horizon.
